Apostrophe S | use of "Of"

 Rule 1 

        जर आपण सजीव बद्दल बोलत असाल तर ( of )  किंवा ( 's ) चा वापर करू शकतो. पण जर सजीवाच्या शेवटी ( s )  चा उच्चर होत असेल तर फॅक्ट ( ' ) वापरावा.

In Living Things  ( चा ची चे - of )

1. रामाचा बाप - Father of Ram

   - Ram's Father

2. रामाचा आवाज - Voice of Ram 

    - Ram's Voice

3. मुलांचा स्वभाव - Nature of boys

  -  Boy' Nature

4. मुलांची खेळणी - Toys of Children

- Children's Toy

5. कुत्र्याची शेपटी - Tail of Dog

    - dog's Tail

6. कुत्र्यांच्या शेपट्या - Tails of Dogs

    - Dog' Tails

7. माझ्या हृदयाची भावना - Feeling of my Heart

    - My heart's feeling

8. आमच्या साहेबांची पत्नी - Wife of our Boss.

    - Our Boss' Wife

9. पुरुषांचे बूट - Shoes of men

    - Men's Shoes

10. मुलींचा भाऊ - Brother of the Girls

    - Girls' Brother

        जर आपण निर्जीव बद्दल बोलत असाल तर ( of ) चा वापर करू शकतो.

in Non Living Things 

1. घराचे दार - The door of House.

2. पुस्तकाची पाने - The pages of the book.

3. दाराची बेल - Bell of the door.

4. चंद्राचा रंग - The color of the Moon.

5. टेबलचे पाय - The legs of the table.

6. खिडकीची काच - Glass of window

Double Apostrophe s 

1. माझ्या मित्राच्या बहिणीचा मुलगा - The son of my friends sister. 

2. माझ्या भावाच्या मुलीचा मुलगा - The son of my brother's doughter.

2. राम आणि श्यामचे वडील - Ram's and shyam's fathers

Rule No. 5

Time, Nature, Space, Length and weigh

1. सूर्याची किरणे.-  The rays of the Sun.

    - The  Sun's rays

2. एक वर्षाची गैरहजरी -  absence of  one year.

    - a year's absence

3. तीन वर्षांची मदत - The service of three years

    -Three years' service
